  • Deliver an integrated electronic referral system across the Parkville Precinct Hospitals.

 

About the role

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is leading a precinct-wide project on behalf of the RMH, The Royal Children’s Hospital, The Royal Women’s Hospital and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. Together, we are implementing an electronic referral (eReferral) system that will digitise and streamline referrals into Specialist Outpatient Clinics across the four hospitals.

We are seeking an experienced Project Officer with a strong understanding of health systems to join the team. In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with colleagues across the Parkville hospitals to support delivery of the new eReferral system
  • Coordinate activities, monitor progress and prepare project documentation
  • Assist in engaging stakeholders and ensuring project milestones are met
  • Collaborate with the Parkville Health Services and EMR teams to scope and plan implementation

About you

  • You have a relevant tertiary qualification in health, business, or project management
  • Project experience and an understanding of project methodologies
  • Knowledge of health systems (EMR) and digital health
  • Strong teamwork and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine interest in developing your career in health projects
