Frequently Asked Questions

What is my username?

The email address you originally used to create your account is always your username — this cannot be changed even if your contact email address has been updated.

For example, if you created your account with username: sample123@hotmail.com and later updated your email to changed123@hotmail.com, your username would still be sample123@hotmail.com.

I cannot remember my password. What do I do?

If you have forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot Password” link on the sign-in page.

You will be asked to enter your username, which is the email address you originally registered with.

A link to reset your password will be sent to your current email address stored in your profile.

Important: The RMH team cannot reset candidate passwords — this functionality does not exist in our recruitment system. The only way to reset your password is to follow the self-service steps.

Your username remains the original email address you used when creating the account, even if you've since updated your contact email.

Example:
If you created your account with sample123@hotmail.com (your username) but later updated your contact email to changed123@hotmail.com, and have forgotten your password:

  1. Click the “Forgot Password” link on the sign-in page.
  2. Enter your original username: sample123@hotmail.com.
  3. The system will send a reset link to your current contact email: changed123@hotmail.com.
  4. Click the link in the email to reset your password.
Do I need to attach a resume to apply for a job?

Yes, applying for a job with us requires a resume.

I am a current employee of The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Should I make a new account to apply for another job here?

If you are a current employee with us, looking at another position in the organisation, please do not create a new account.

Instead, use the employee logon to sign in and apply using your RMH email address and network password.

Creating another account may cause backend issues during the onboarding process for your new position.

Where do I go to sign up for an account or log in?

Click on the profile button in the top right corner of the page to sign up or log in. If you are a current employee of The Royal Melbourne Hospital, please use the Employee Log In button.

I am trying to sign my contract but I am getting an "invalid login" error. What can I do?

This may be a caching issue. Try using a different device or open the site in an incognito/private browser window.

I am a school student interested in doing a work experience program with The Royal Melbourne Hospital. Who can I contact about this?
