Virtual Ward - Coordinator

  • New Position in a brand-new ward – Co-located with RMH@Home Acute
  • 6-month fixed term funded pilot of the new virtual ward

Your new role:

  • As the Virtual Ward Coordinator(ANUM), you will be a key leader within a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
  • Provide leadership, support and escalation support for our virtual nursing team
  • Conducting assessment and intake for referred patients
  • Collaborating closely with the Manager, Medical Team, Nursing Team, and Clinical Development Nurse
  • Play a key role in the development and implementation of an innovative, outcome-focused models of care for our patients and carers
  • Play a key role in shaping the future of virtual healthcare at The RMH

 

About you:

  • You have at least 4 years acute hospital experience
  • Bring experience, confidence and a passion for shaping new approaches in healthcare
  • A collaborative, team-focused working style
  • Exceptional communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with strong time-management capability
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development
