Switchboard Operator/Receptionist

RMH Telecommunications is a team committed to working with all stakeholders to ensure call management delivery is effective and efficient. The Telecommunications team enjoys a collaborative working environment with all stakeholders having access to internal resources to enhance and provide expertise across the many service disciplines
 

Your new role: 

  • The successful candidate would be required to work in a team environment to manage internal, external and emergency calls
  • Communicate with a range of people, including patients, families/carers and clinicians
  • Utilise an internal paging system
  • Assist in the upkeep of relevant departmental information
  • Collate and update on call rosters

 

About you:

  • We are looking for a highly motivated Switchboard Operator/Receptionist to support our team 
  • You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative working style
  • You are willing to be trained and have an appetite to learn on the job, ask questions, and approach work with enthusiasm
  • Work across all areas of the Telecommunications department, which includes the RMH Parkville and Royal Park Campuses 
  • You have effective communication skills and a passion for continued professional development.
