Job Description: 

Specialist in Allergy & Immunology 

Fractional/Fixed Term up to 21 hours per fortnight for 6 months

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

The Department of Clinical Immunology and Allergy is one of two sites in Melbourne providing comprehensive care in Clinical Immunology and Allergy.  The Department aims to offer excellence in the provision of evidence-based care for patients suffering from the clinical conditions of

•            Allergic Diseases

•            Autoimmune conditions

•            Primary Immunodeficiencies

We aim to benchmark our clinical service internationally through active involvement in practice development, research and teaching facilitated by collaborations with our precinct partners.

About the role:

Consultant-level support to outpatient clinics and testing and challenges within the Allergy and Clinical Immunology Unit.

About You:

  • Specialist Registration in Allergy & Immunology with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration.
