About the Program
Pathology Network West (PNW) is a landmark transformation program uniting the pathology services of four leading Victorian health services: The Royal Melbourne Hospital, The Royal Women’s Hospital, The Royal Children’s Hospital, and Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
As part of this transformational program a new Laboratory Information Solution (LIS) is being implemented. The new LIS is a key enabler of the service transformation and will provide major benefits to patients, providers, and staff of the new network.
About the Role
As a Technical Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering technical workstreams that support this program. You’ll:
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and project teams
- Drive the planning, coordination, and delivery of technical tasks and milestones
- Maintain documentation and governance across scope, schedule, and deliverables
- Monitor risks, issues, and budgets, ensuring project quality and timely delivery
- Provide clear, actionable communication to both technical and non-technical audiences
About You
- Proven experience managing complex ICT projects (health sector preferred)
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Highly organised, adaptable, and able to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with Healthcare application implementation projects (especially LIS or EMR), laboratory processes and workflows highly desirable.
