                                                                                                             Sustainability Manager

• Lead organisation-wide sustainability and climate performance across a major tertiary health service
• Drive energy performance, emissions reduction and resource efficiency outcomes
• High-impact role influencing strategy, operations and long-term sustainability outcomes

Working across clinical, operational and corporate teams, you will bring energy, initiative and independent drive to identify opportunities, solve problems and deliver measurable improvements.

About the role:

• Lead delivery of RMH’s Sustainability Strategy and Climate Action Plan across a major tertiary health service
• Drive energy performance, emissions reduction and resource efficiency outcomes at scale
• Provide expert advice and influence decision-making across clinical, operational and corporate teams
• Transform complex sustainability data into clear insights to improve performance and reduce costs
• Lead organisation-wide sustainability reporting, compliance and continuous improvement initiatives

About you: 

Qualifications

• Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental management, engineering or related field

Essential

• Experience leading sustainability or energy programs in large or complex organisations
• Strong capability in emissions, energy and environmental data analysis
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and deliver outcomes

Desirable

• Experience working within healthcare or other complex infrastructure environments
• Demonstrated experience delivering decarbonisation or energy optimisation programs
