  • Parental leave cover from 22 June 2026 – 21 June 2027
  • Parkville location, close to public transport

As the Stroke Research Nurse Coordinator, you will be at the centre of our internationally recognised Stroke Research Program—coordinating and delivering clinical trials that directly impact patient outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to combine your clinical expertise with research, working alongside leading neurologists, researchers and multidisciplinary teams.

Your new Role

In this role, you will coordinate and facilitate a portfolio of stroke clinical trials, ensuring they are delivered to the highest ethical and clinical standards.

  • Lead patient recruitment, assessment, and follow-up for clinical trials
  • Coordinate trial activities in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and protocols
  • Collaborate with investigators, sponsors, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Manage data collection, reporting, and regulatory requirements
  • Provide education and support to staff on stroke research trials

About You

You are an experienced and motivated nurse who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and is passionate about research and improving patient outcomes.

You bring:

  • Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • Experience coordinating clinical trials within GCP guidelines
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Clinical experience in stroke, neuroscience, ICU, or emergency settings
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Postgraduate qualifications in health or management (or working towards) are highly regarded.
