About The Royal Melbourne Hospital:
The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is a leading public hospital in Victoria, providing expert care 24 hours, 7 days a week. It offers emergency, medical, surgical, mental health, and specialist services. As a major teaching hospital, it supports medical research and trains future healthcare professionals.
RMH is seeking a Statutory Reporting Analyst to join the Health Information Services team to play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and high-quality statutory reporting that supports Activity Based Funding (ABF) and organisational performance.
Your new role:
As the Statutory Reporting Manager, you will:
- Lead statutory reporting across the organisation, ensuring mandatory datasets are accurate, timely, and compliant
- Oversee PAS and EMR reporting design and change to ensure systems reflect clinical activity and workflows
- Drive organisation‑wide data quality improvements through practical, sustainable solutions
- Work closely with clinicians, digital teams, and senior leaders to strengthen reporting outcomes and system performance
- Lead and develop a high‑performing statutory reporting team, fostering capability, accountability, and a supportive culture
About you:
- Bachelor in Health Information Management (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in data analysis, health service performance monitoring, and statutory reporting datasets (VAED, VINAH, VEMD, ESIS).
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
- Sound knowledge of PAS and EMR systems, with strong Microsoft Excel capability.
