Employment Status: Fractional / Fixed Term 

2 sessions (14hpf) from 20/10/25 to 7/12/25

7 sessions (49hpf) from 8/12/25 to 14/12/25

5 sessions (35hpf) from 15/12/25 to 31/12/25

4 sessions (28hpf) 1/1/26 to 18/01/26

5 sessions (35hpr) from 19/01/26 to 1/2/26

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.

About the role:

Palliative Care Physician/Specialist within the Parkville Integrated Palliative Care Service – working in inpatient, consultation, outpatient and community-based settings. The role includes supervision of Junior Medical Staff and support to the whole multidisciplinary team

About You:

• Specialist Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Palliative Medicine     Specialist/Physician
• MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
• Fellowship
