Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon (Foot & Ankle)
Fractional / Fixed Term 29.5 hours per fortnight with Rostered (Exclusive) On-Call
05 January – 03 May 2026

Unit Description:
Large and busy Orthopaedic Unit managing high volume of Orthopaedic Trauma Cases. Surgeons of varying expertise and experience managing patients collectively and collaboratively within the Orthopaedic Unit as well as across other Surgical Specialties
About the role:
You will provide On-Call services and follow up Trauma Theatre Cover according to the Roster, Elective Orthopaedic Surgery Lists (specific to foot and ankle), Outpatient Clinics and attendance at Weekly Orthopaedic Unit Audit as Required

About You:
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Fellowship Qualification and Membership
- Recent Graduate of the Australian Orthopaedics Association
