Specialist Haematologist (Anticoagulation Stewardship)

7hpfn Fractional / Fixed Term from 02 February 2026 – 01 August 2026

Unit Description:

Clinical Haematology is a unified department formed between Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital and is the largest haematology service in the country.  We provide a publicly funded, evidence-based care for patients with haematologic disorders from across Melbourne and beyond, within eight specialised disease groups, each led by a nationally recognised and experienced clinical leader in their area

About the role:

  • The anticoagulation stewardship haematologist will work with the appointed pharmacist and the team at the Digital Coordination centre to develop and implement an anticoagulation steward dashboard and procedures at Royal Melbourne Hospital.

About You:

  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
  • MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
  • RACP Fellowship
  • Experience with EPIC, anticoagulation stewardship are advantages.
