Job Description: 

Dear Senior Medical Staff,

We are calling for expressions of interest for the position outlined below:

Position A: Specialist Geriatrician - Older Persons Hub

Employment Status: Fixed Term - Fulltime or Fractional (03 November 2025 – 30 June 2026)

Hours: 76hpfn

The Role:  Provide community and hospital support for older patients referred at high risk of admission from ED or Ambulance VictoriaPosition B: Specialist Geriatrician - Residential in Reach Post Hospitalisation

Employment Status: Fractional/Fixed Term

Hours: 7hpfn

The Role: Nursing home visits and in reach support

 Position C: Specialist Geriatrician

Employment Status: Fractional/Fixed Term (leave cover 21 December 2025 – 21 March 2026)

Hours: 10.5hpfn

The Role: RMH@ home subacute

Position D: Specialist Geriatrician

Employment Status: Fractional/Fixed Term (Parental leave cover 01 December 2025 – 30 November 2026)

Hours: 7hpfn

The Role: Ward service

About You:

  • Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA)

  • Current SMS staff who hold substantive RMH appointments.
  • Current RMH DiT’s that hold Fellowship in the above speciality at the time of application.
