Specialist General Medicine Physician – AMU, multiple positions
The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
Unit Description:
Acute Medical Unit provides short-term treatment, care and support for people in their first 24 to 48 hours in hospital.
About the role:
- Provide acute, patient-centred multidisciplinary care.
- Actively contribute to research and education that promotes the structure and function of the unit.
- To proactively engage in regular unit-based clinical supervision, education and training activities.
- Provide a responsive, professional and collaborative medical consultation service.

About You:
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Fellowship
