Specialist Dermatologist

The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community-based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world-renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
Unit Description:
- To provide specialist dermatologic clinical service
- To support research and development of service
- Teaching of junior medical staff and medical staff
About the role:
- We are recruiting for a dermatologist who is interested in both clinical dermatology and research to build our team for the future. You will be employed two sessions per fortnight

About You:
This role would suit an applicant who is interested in basic science research and capable of working independently to create research opportunities as well as striving for excellence in clinical care.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (for international Medical Graduates)
- MBBS or equivalent tertiary qualifications
- Fellowship FACD
