Based in Moonee Ponds, this role is an opportunity to expand your skills, deliver excellent interventions, and contribute to the growth of mental health services in the community.
Your new role:
• Develop thoughtful, evidence-based recovery plans with consumers and their supports within RMH MHS.
• Manage a caseload that allows time for therapeutic, profession-specific interventions across RMH community mental health programs.
• Provide interventions at different stages of community mental health, including acute assessment and ongoing support.
• Demonstrate leadership to maintain high clinical standards and contribute to RMH’s positive, collaborative team culture.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team activities, applying treatment skills for people with severe and enduring mental health conditions.
About you:
• Registered Psychiatric Nurse with minimum 5 years’ experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of severe mental illness and psychiatric disability.
• Committed to supporting consumers with severe and enduring mental illness, their families, GPs, support workers, and NDIS teams through RMH MHS programs.
• Motivated to develop professional practice, provide leadership, and maintain high clinical standards aligned with RMH values.
• Able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including some out-of-hours shifts.
• Confident supporting people with drug and alcohol related issues, proficient in Microsoft Windows, and hold a current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
