About the Role:
The Medical Workforce Unit comprises of three teams including the Doctors in Training (DiT) Operations, Recruitment and Contracting and Employee Services. The unit as a whole is responsible for the recruitment, credentialing, education and ongoing management and support of doctors at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
The Senior Employee Services Advisor is responsible for assisting the Employee Services Manager in resolving difficult enquiries and in identifying payroll errors and implementing corrective action where required to ensure employee payments are processed accurately and database integrity is maintained.
Key responsibilities:
- Undertake transactional tasks in the HR system (SAP) across the employee lifecycle including on-boarding of new employees, processing contract renewals, entering salary and leave adjustments, EBA changes, and off-boarding employees.
- Process changes in employee information (including personal details, parental leave, car parking deductions, salary packaging deductions).
- Calculation of salary rates, leave entitlements, payments related to severance, allowances, and variations to salary
- Administration of employee applications including Parental Leave, Long Service Leave, and Purchased Leave.
About you:
- Strong contemporary knowledge of SAP, Success factors or other similar HR processing system, preferably within healthcare.
- Strong knowledge of the Doctors in Training (DiT) and Senior Medical Staff (SMS) Enterprise Agreements
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for service excellence
- Tertiary qualification in human resources, healthcare, or related field is highly desirable
- You thrive in a busy environment, and short deadlines don't phase you and have experience in workforce planning.
