We're looking for a talented individual to step into the vital role of Systems Officer within our Revenue Services and Finance team. This is a fantastic oppourtunity to contribute directly to our strategic goals, particularly in becoming a leading digital health service and ensuring our sustainability.
Your new role
Reporting to the Revenue Systems Manager, your primary focus will be on managing and actioning system worklists, engaging with stakeholders to resolve issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of PBRC and related Health systems. You will play a key role in maintaining system stability and supporting accurate, timely revenue processing across Revenue Services.
Key responsibilties include:
- System Support: Provide daily monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of issues across key revenue systems (PBRC, Karisma, PowerAssist), coordinating upgrades and enhancements to ensure stability and efficiency.
- Worklist Management: Maintain and action core system worklists, ensuring timely completion within KPIs and supporting accurate hospital billing processes.
- Analysis & Reporting: Assist the Revenue Systems Manager with data analysis, unresolved charges, and validation tasks, while preparing and distributing reports to stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Work with Digital Innovation, Finance, clinical, and administrative teams to support system maintenance, integration testing, and resolution of data rejections.
- System Development: Contribute to the design and implementation of system improvements that streamline workflows, reduce manual intervention, and enhance data quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Conduct statistical analysis to identify trends, monitor outcomes, and support initiatives that drive efficiency and strengthen revenue assurance.
About you
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented RMH team member who embodies The Melbourne Way – putting people first, leading with kindness, and achieving excellence together. We're looking for someone who is driven, analytical, and thrives in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with Healthcare software and billing. Particularly programs such as PBRC, EPIC, iPM and Karisma.
- A strong understanding of IT systems and familiarity with basic coding principles.
- A genuine commitment to continuous improvment and embracing change
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build productive relationships across various teams and levels
- Can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a supportive team environment.A qualification in Business Information Systems, IT, or equivalent relevant industry experience
