We are seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurses to join our newly expanded and renovated acute inpatient unit in Parkville. You’ll be part of a motivated, diverse, and supportive team with access to modern facilities and strong clinical leadership.
Your New Role:
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care across a 24-hour, 7-day-a-week roster.
- Conduct comprehensive assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
- Provide therapeutic interventions and support to adults with complex mental health needs, their families, and carers.
- Work across AM, PM, night, and weekend shifts in a supportive environment.
About You:
- Postgraduate qualification in Mental Health Nursing, Master of Mental Health Nursing, or equivalent.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Strong clinical reasoning, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the assessment and treatment of severe mental illness is desirable; training and development will be provided.
