RMH Mental Health Services delivers person-centred, recovery-focused care across community and hospital settings, supporting adults and older adults experiencing, or at risk of, serious mental illness.
Our services are grounded in trauma-informed practice and delivered by a highly skilled multidisciplinary workforce, including Lived & Living Experience experts. As leaders of the Victorian Collaborative Centre for Mental Health and Wellbeing and the Statewide Trauma Service, RMH is at the forefront of mental health reform, education and research.
We are inviting Grade 2 Registered Psychiatric Nurses to submit an Expression of Interest to join our Adult Acute Psychiatric Ward - John Cade based at our city campus. YOUR ROLE, YOUR IMPACT
As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse at RMH, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality mental health care that makes a real difference every day.
In this role, you will:
- Work collaboratively and culturally safely with consumers from diverse backgrounds
- Build respectful, therapeutic relationships with consumers, families, carers and supporters
- Deliver trauma-informed, recovery-oriented and strengths-based care
- Contribute meaningfully within a multidisciplinary team
- Utilise digital systems and technology to support safe, effective clinical practice

ABOUT YOU
You are a motivated and compassionate mental health clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality care.
You will bring:
- Qualification as a Registered Nurse with minimum two years’ experience and a Postgraduate Degree in Mental Health Nursing
- Experience working collaboratively in an inpatient mental health setting
- Current AHPRA registration
- Strong clinical assessment, risk management and therapeutic skills
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
