About the Role
The Part Time Fixed Term role is based at our City Campus, 2SE provides specialist cardiology and cardio-thoracic services including pre-admission assessment, day procedures and peri-procedural care for patients undergoing a broad range of cardiac interventions. These include coronary interventions, pacing procedures, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI), electrophysiology studies, device implantation and structural heart procedures.
Key Accountabilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to cardiology and cardio-thoracic patients.
- Support excellence in clinical practice and contribute to positive patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient assessment, clinical decision-making and care planning.
- Facilitate efficient patient flow across the continuum of care.
About You
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Strong clinical assessment, prioritisation and time management abilities.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centred care.
- Ability to work a range of AM and PM shifts within a multidisciplinary team environment.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a cardiology or acute care setting.
- Postgraduate qualification or studies in Cardiac Nursing.
