About the role

In this role you will join 7 South West (7SW), a 30-bed inpatient ward specialising in the care of orthopaedic and trauma patients. The ward offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing a diverse mix of elective orthopaedic procedures alongside acute trauma admissions from the Emergency Department (ED) and Intensive Care Unit (ICU). 

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
  • Comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care
  • Enhance patient outcomes through effective interdisciplinary collaboration and clinical expertise
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and excellence in care

About You

  • At least 2 years of acute nursing experience 
  • Experience in a surgical specialty such as trauma, orthopaedics or plastics
  • Be flexible to work a 7-day rotating roster
