We are seeking an enthusiastic nurse that wants to expand and consolidate their nursing skills. You will become a valued member of a world class team of nurses. The skills you learn here are highly sought after and a great introduction to caring for high acuity and complex surgical patients. We are seeking applications from motivated and passionate nurses.
Ward 3 West – Day Procedure Unit provides complex care through many specialties including Diagnostic, Interventional and Emergency Endoscopy, Surgical procedures (Plastics, Ophthalmology, Urology, Orthopaedics, Hepatobiliary, OMFS), Anaesthetics and Recovery. Satellite site 7 North West Dental Clinic and Ear, Nose and Throat procedure area.
Your New Role:
- Join a collaborative and supportive team as an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse on our Day Procedure Unit - After hours on call required once endoscopy trained
- Flexible hours with Part Time positions available on a fixed term or permanent basis
- 10-hour shifts
- Monday – Friday with Saturday Endoscopy
About you:
- 3 years acute nursing experience required
- Endoscopy experience required (preferred)
- Perioperative experience highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills & clinical knowledge
- Demonstrated ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team
- Developed assessment, clinical reasoning, problem solving and prioritisation
