- Provide support and information to BreastScreen clients and relatives.
- Drive effective workflow changes in consultation with the multidisciplinary tam members.

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
North Western BreastScreen is part of Royal Melbourne Hospital and BreastScreen Victoria. The Program offers free digital mammograms to women in the target group, aged 50-69, living or working in the north western region of Melbourne. The service is also accessible to women aged 40 plus. North Western delivers an expert clinical and non-clinical breast service in a multidisciplinary environment; whereby clinical and support staff work together at the assessment centre located at the Royal Park campus.
About the role:
RMH are seeking an HR Advisor to join out Recruitment Services team. Working within our People & Culture department, you will be the first point of contact for all Hiring Managers across the hospital, providing support in recruitment, employee relations, and HR processes in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities
The nurse/counsellor is a key member of the multidisciplinary team ensuring clinics run efficiently.
- Responsible for providing telephone support to clients returning for further investigations following the detection of a change in the screening mammogram.
- Responsible for providing face to face information to clients and their relatives/support people.
- Responsible for managing appointments and liaising with the multidisciplinary team about changes.
- Observing BreastScreen Australia Accreditation standards

Qualifications
- Registered Nurse:
Registration as a Registered Nurse under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act
(2009) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Counselling qualification
Essential

- Current Working With Children’s Check (WWCC)
- Proven relevant competencies and skills
Desirable
- Experience in a similar role
- Second language - highly desirable
- Driver's license
