About the Role:
The Medical Workforce Unit comprises of three teams including the Doctors in Training, Recruitment and Contracting and Employee Services. The unit as a whole is responsible for the recruitment, credentialing, education and ongoing management and support of doctors at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
The Recruitment & Contracting Advisor is responsible for end-to-end Recruitment and Contracting functions for both Doctors in Training (DiT) and Senior Medical Staff (SMS) across RMH.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and participate in both DIT and SMS recruitment and contracting activities, including:
- coordination and participation (as directed) in interview panels,
- preparation of appointment letters, and
- onboarding tasks for new employees.
- Provide a point of contact for all internal stakeholders regarding all medical staff matters
- Monitor joint inboxes to ensure timely assistance is provided
- Ensure compliance with relevant Enterprise Bargaining Agreements
- Collaborate closely with Medical Workforce leadership and contribute to quality improvement initiatives and key projects
About you:
- Experience in Recruitment and Contracting or HR operations, preferably in healthcare
- Contemporary knowledge of SAP or other similar HR processing system
- Strong knowledge of the Doctors in Training (DiT) and Senior Medical Staff (SMS) Enterprise Agreements
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for service excellence
- Confident working in partnership with senior leadership and cross-functional teams
