The Medical Workforce Unit is a collaborative team, supporting both the junior and senior medical workforce. Reporting to the Medical Workforce Manager and working closely with a small team, you will be responsible for all operational functions relating to doctors.
Although you will ideally have had experience in healthcare and / or workforce management, we will train and develop you in all relevant areas of workforce management at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. The breadth of activities undertaken within the Medical Workforce Team will ensure you remain challenged and continue to learn and develop through your career with us.
Your new role:
- Work closely with the Manager of Medical Workforce and other key stakeholders to ensure all administrative aspects of rostering and allocations are completed in a proactive manner.
- Address workforce issues as they arise and escalate appropriately.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Participate in after hours on-call (telephone) roster.
About you:
- You have experience in office administration within a complex environment, with an ability to quickly learn and navigate new systems.
- You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including conflict management.
- You are process driven with excellent organisational and problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- You work effectively with key stakeholders and external partners.
