The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is one of Victoria’s largest and busiest public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, mental health, and rehabilitation services across two campuses.
An exciting opportunity for a qualified Grade 1 or new graduate Prosthetist/Orthotist to join RMH’s established Prosthetics & Orthotics team, working within a major amputee rehabilitation service.
About the Role:
• Deliver safe, evidence-based, patient-centred care including assessment, intervention, and discharge planning
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff, and services to ensure quality outcomes
• Learn and grow in a dynamic hospital setting with exposure to diverse clinical experiences
• Access structured career progression across clinical, research, education, and leadership streams
About You:
• AOPA and NDIS-registered Prosthetist/Orthotist with a passion for evidence-based care
• Committed to working collaboratively within a supportive, multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills
• Willingness to engage in education, quality improvement, and professional development activities
