  • Full-Time, Fixed Term opportunity for 12 months
  • Work in partnership with senior leaders and report to the Project Control Group
  • Oversee four clinical streams: deterioration, VTE, readmission risk, and virtual monitoring

About the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH)

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is one of Victoria’s largest and most respected public health services. We provide comprehensive medical, surgical, mental health, aged care, rehabilitation, and community programs.

The Digital Coordination Centre was established in 2023 to improve patient access and flow through real-time data analytics. A first of its kind in Victoria, the DCC is embedded in RMH operations and has already delivered measurable improvements, including fewer escalation days, improved patient access, and safer care environments.

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead Phase 2 of the Digital Coordination Centre (DCC) at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. This is a full-time, temporary position based at our City Campus in Parkville.

Your New Role

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones for DCC Phase 2.
  • Support working groups and facilitate stakeholder engagement.
  • Oversee governance processes, including reporting, risk management, and change control.
  • Deliver effective change management and communication strategies.
  • Manage project scope, budget, risks, and benefits realisation.
  • Ensure alignment with organisational priorities and successful transition to business-as-usual.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (health, business, or management).
  • Demonstrated project management skills and experience in a health-related or digital health setting.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to lead collaborative processes across diverse teams.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and committed to The Melbourne Way.
  • Project Management certification (Prince2, PMP) desirable but not essential.
