About The Royal Melbourne Hospital
The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) is one of Victoria’s leading public hospitals, providing world-class care across acute, subacute, and mental health services within the Parkville Precinct.
Reporting to the Projects Director – Clinical Operations, this role leads key RMH projects aligned with strategic and clinical priorities. It involves working across services and teams in project planning, stakeholder engagement, data analysis, planning, implementation, evaluation, and change management across all project stages.
About the role:
- Lead planning and implementation of key projects aligned with RMH and Department of Health priorities.
- Identify and drive opportunities to improve the timeliness of patient care.
- Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support innovation and transformative change.
- Analyse and report data to track outcomes, performance, and measurable improvements.
- Maintain strong project governance, including risk management, reporting, and change strategies.
About you:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior operational or project role within a large health service.
- Proven ability to manage change in complex healthcare environments.
- High emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement easily builds trust and relate to a wide range of clinical and non-clinical teams.
- An interest in digital transformation
- Skilled in managing multiple projects, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience in data collection, analysis, and measuring change.
- Perioperative and or surgical experience desirable
