This role as the Engineering Services Plumber plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the hospital's engineering department. This position involves overseeing a wide range of engineering activities, including maintenance, repairs, renovations, and compliance with regulatory standards, as well as providing resource knowledge to support capital project programs. The position will ensure that all plumbing tasks are completed effectively and in a timely manner to support the hospital's mission of providing high-quality healthcare services. You will be welcomed in a dynamic team and be given an opportunity to showcase your skills.
About you
This exciting position will require a trade qualification Registered/Licenced Plumber; Licenced preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering services or related commercial plumbing position, preferably in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- Strong technical expertise in plumbing and building systems, with knowledge of healthcare facility requirements and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and standards governing healthcare facility engineering and safety.
- Current driver's license valid for Australia.
