Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Grade 1/2

The Royal Melbourne Hospital

 

  • Full Time Ongoing position - 80 hours per fortnight, with monthly paid day off.
  • Based at Royal Melbourne Hospital - City Campus in Parkville.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital established Victoria's first fully integrated Nuclear Medicine Department in 1966, going on to help establish the Nuclear Medicine registrar training program and the first tertiary Nuclear Medicine Technologist training program in the world. With recent investment in system and facilities upgrades our department continues to support the training and development of all craft groups in Nuclear Medicine.


We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our Nuclear Medicine team.


Your new role:

  • Undertake a full range of imaging and laboratory Nuclear Medicine studies.
  • Rotation through all services provided by the Department of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Participate in our after hours on call service (Grade 2 only).

 

About you:

  • You have current AHPRA registration as a Medical Radiations Practitioner.
  • You hold a current DoH Radiation Use Licence (or are eligible to apply).
  • You are flexible and work well both independently and as part of a team.
