Job Description: 

Grade 1 Exercise Physiologist (New Graduate Position) 
 

  • The Royal Melbourne Hospital, Royal Park Campus 

  • Fixed Term 18 months, commencing July 2025

  • Join the Exercise Physiology and Physiotherapy Team

 

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic newly graduated Exercise Physiologist to join our team and start their career at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. This 18 month fixed term position will provide the successful applicant with opportunities to gain experience working in a team environment with a wide variety of Aged Care, Neurological and Musculoskeletal patients across inpatient and outpatient services.

Your new role: 

  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high quality care and physical conditioning services to patients across both group and individual settings. 

  • Participate in service improvement activities within the Physiotherapy department. 

  • Enjoy excellent support from skilled and passionate Senior Exercise Physiologists. 

 

About you: 

  • You are a new graduate and currently hold or are eligible for membership and accreditation with Exercise and Sports Science Australia (ESSA). 

  • You have strong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. 

  • You are organised and are able to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
