About Royal Melbourne Hospital Mental Health Service (RMH MHS)

RMH MHS has an exciting opportunity for developing clinician to deliver excellent interventions and provide community based mental health service. We are seeking dynamic, team-oriented clinicians. Position Purpose 

The purpose of this role is to build capacity within RMH MHS's to ensure all eligible consumers optimise their NDIS supports. It will also support clinicians working with clients to develop networks of support outside the NDIS.

Working closely with consumer, carers and kin, as well as treating teams, and a range of stakeholders, this role focuses on optimising activity and participation for people throughout their mental health journey

 

About You 

  • Capacity to work alongside mental health clinicians to support identification of eligible consumers.
  • Demonstrated capacity to write high quality submissions, applications or other forms of written work.
  • Knowledge and experience of mental health services and the range of psychosocial support service providers in the community.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with a range of professional teams and services.
  • Knowledge and commitment to improvement of people’s health and wellbeing, with a recovery oriented and consumer and carer informed practice.
  • Ability to develop and implement promotional resources.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective relationships and communicate effectively with service leaders, clinicians, consumers, families/carers, colleagues and other service providers.
  • An ability to work responsibly and with autonomy.
  • Professional self-awareness and reflective practice.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Hold a current Victoria driver’s license (or equivalent).
