The Royal Melbourne is one of Victoria’s largest hospitals providing a comprehensive range of health services including acute, sub-acute, general, and specialist medical services throughout inpatient and community based facilities. We are also a proud part of the world renowned Melbourne Biomedical Precinct, working in collaboration to advance research for continuous improvement of clinical care.
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our scientific team. This is a full time, fixed term position to work in our biochemistry and/or Immunology laboratory.
Your Opportunity:
- Perform a variety of biochemical analyses using both automated and manual methods.
- Undertake other related duties as required.
- Participate in our rotational 24/7 shift roster.
About You:
- A bachelor’s degree in science or in applied science, or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience in a tertiary hospital or private Biochemistry an/or Immunology laboratory is desirable.
- Commitment to customer focused service.
- Capacity to perform under pressure, to meet time constraints and determine work priorities.
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent communication and team work based skills.
