Medical Imaging Administrator / Receptionist 
The Royal Melbourne Hospital

 

  • Immediate Start available for a Full Time position 
  • 5 weeks annual leave plus monthly ADO’s for full-time employees 
  • Salary packaging, Close to Public transport and Discounted onsite Car parking

RMH is part of the Parkville Precinct and is one of Australia's leading public hospitals, providing a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services, as well as rehabilitation, aged care, specialist clinics and community programs. 

 

The Medical Imaging department at Royal Melbourne Hospital is committed to delivering excellent service to our patients and referrers. We are a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic imaging service providing care to patients at RMH Parkville, RMH Royal Park, RMH Private Imaging and RMH Nuclear Medicine.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and registering patients 
  • Managing phone, email and in-person enquiries 
  • Scheduling appointments 
  • Managing patient accounts 
  • Working collaboratively with the administrative team, managers, clinical and medical staff 
  • Assist with general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department

 

About you:

  • You have experience working in fast paced medical reception environments (medical imaging / Nuclear medicine experience desirable) 
  • You are available to work the following shift times: 8.30am-5pm, 12-8.30pm and 1.30pm-10pm. 
  • You have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills 
  • You have strong IT skills and MS office experience 
  • You have the capability to collaborate effectively with a dynamic team and can work independently when required 
  • You are proactive and have problem solving skills
