Medical Imaging Administrator / Receptionist

The Medical Imaging department at Royal Melbourne Hospital is committed to delivering excellent service to our patients and referrers. We are a comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic imaging service providing care to patients at RMH Parkville, RMH Royal Park, RMH Private Imaging and RMH Nuclear Medicine.
About the Role:
- Greeting and registering patients
- Managing phone, email and in-person enquiries
- Scheduling appointments
- Managing patient accounts
- Working collaboratively with the administrative team, managers, clinical and medical staff
- Assist with general administrative duties to ensure the smooth running of the department.
About you:
- You have experience working in fast paced medical reception environments (medical imaging / Nuclear medicine experience desirable)
- You are available to work weekday shifts
- You have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- You have strong IT skills and MS office experience
- You have the capability to collaborate effectively with a dynamic team and can work independently when required
- You are proactive and have problem solving skills
