Medical Education Officer

- 0.6 FTE 12-month position based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital.
- Develop, implement and evaluate continuing education programs for medical doctors in training.
- Support wellbeing of medical staff.

Your new team
- The Medical Education Unit is a collaborative team, supporting both the junior and senior medical workforce.
- Medical Education is a small and enthusiastic team committed to providing the highest-level education to all medical staff.
- The Medical Education team has responsibility to ensure all educational activities are in line with best practice initiatives and organisational priorities.
Your success in this role, will be in your ability to:
- Work closely with the Manger of Medical Education and other key stakeholders to develop, implement and evaluate education opportunities.
- Ensure education aligns with the accreditation requirements from the various external agencies.
- Support the wellbeing of medical staff.
- Develop and maintain key working relationships.
- Be able to be dynamic and nimble in your approach to your work.
Your Contribution
- You have demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate educational opportunities for medical staff.
- You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ensure the smooth running of all education and wellbeing sessions.
- Facilitate evidence-based education incorporating adult learning principles.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
- Have flexibility on working hours.
