Lead a brand new function focused on strengthening the employee experience across RMH.

  • Newly created leadership role shaping RMH’s People Experience function
  • Drive initiatives that improve employee engagement, connection and belonging
  • Full time, Ongoing position based at RMH Elizabeth Street

About the role

  • Lead and grow RMH’s newly established People Experience function, shaping how employees engage with the organisation across the full employee lifecycle
  • Design and embed initiatives that enhance key moments that matter — from onboarding and recognition to internal mobility and offboarding
  • Champion a people-centred approach that strengthens connection, belonging and engagement across the workforce
  • Use workforce insights, engagement data and feedback to identify friction points and continuously improve the employee experience
  • Partner with leaders and People & Culture teams to deliver a consistent, values-aligned employee journey that supports attraction, retention and engagement

Key responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Lead and develop RMH’s new People Experience function, building capability and delivering key initiatives
  • Design and improve employee lifecycle programs including onboarding, recognition, engagement and offboarding
  • Analyse workforce insights, engagement data and feedback to improve employee experience
  • Develop people-facing resources, toolkits and programs that support leaders and employees
  • Partner with People & Culture teams and leaders to strengthen connection, belonging and retention

About you

Essential

  • Experience leading HR, employee experience or workforce initiatives in a complex organisation
  • Strong leadership capability with experience building and developing teams
  • Ability to analyse data and insights to design and improve people programs

Desirable

  • Experience in healthcare, public sector or large service organisations
  • Exposure to employee experience design or human-centred design approaches
