Mental Health Services – Waratah Clinic

  • Part-time Ongoing position, working 64 hours per fortnight
  • Provide evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative team
  • Based in the Waratah Clinic, Moonee Ponds

About the role:

  • Deliver primary, secondary, and tertiary evidence-based consultation support for complex mental health needs
  • Combine leadership duties with direct & indirect clinical work
  • Support the team leader and program manager in maintaining high standards
  • Provide supervision and expert opinions on diagnoses and treatment planning
  • Contribute to team operations, including staff support and recruitment

 

About you

Formal Qualifications

  • This is a multidisciplinary role open to Grade 4 Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Grade 3 Social Workers, Psychologists or Occupational Therapists (must hold relevant degree, registration and/or membership as per attached Position Description)

 

Essential

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in severe mental illness assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Expertise in evidence-based interventions for low-prevalence disorders and endorsed RMH MHS practice domains
  • Commitment to professional development and effective teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting
  • Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Windows and related systems
