About the Role
In this role you will oversee the end-to-end case management of working visa nomination applications with the Department of Home Affairs (DOHA) and facilitate registrations with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) for overseas medical staff.
You will ensure the organisation’s compliance as a sponsor with DOHA while providing expert guidance to departments and international recruits on legislative requirements. Your strong stakeholder management skills will enable you to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage AHPRA registration applications from submission through to approval.
- Coordinate employer-sponsored visa nominations and support overseas recruitment.
- Own a portfolio of registration and sponsorship cases, ensuring timely outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and employment records.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with candidates, hiring managers and external agencies to deliver a seamless onboarding experience.
About You
- Registration with the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA).
- Demonstrated experience working in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders across various departments.
- Strong knowledge of Migration legislation and ability to identify emerging issues, evaluate risks, and interpret relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide guidance and advice to prospective and current employees.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
