About the Program

Start your career in specialist mental health nursing with one of Victoria’s leading public mental health services.

The RMH Graduate Mental Health Nurse Program is a two-year structured graduate program designed to support newly qualified nurses to consolidate clinical skills, build confidence and develop expertise in recovery-focused mental health care.

This two-year graduate program provides:

  • Supported clinical practice across inpatient and community settings
  • Dedicated study days and professional development
  • Mental health specific theoretical learning
  • Clinical rotations and multidisciplinary team experience
  • Support to complete a Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Mental Health Nursing in Year 2

You are:

  • A graduate Registered Nurse passionate about mental health nursing
  • Committed to delivering compassionate, person-centred care
  • Motivated to learn and grow in a dynamic clinical environment
  • Able to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
