Job Description: 

Grade 3 Dietitian Surgical Services

  • Be a senior dietitian at a leading Victorian Health service
  • RMH Nutrition is committed to patient centred care
  • Full Time Ongoing AK1-AK4

Your New Role

  • Provide clinical leadership to a team of junior dietitians
  • Work  clinically to ensure quality nutrition care to patients requiring gastro-intestinal surgery (including Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary and colorectal surgery)and  general surgical patients
  • This position may be based at the Royal Melbourne Hospital City and will include some weekend shifts.

About You 

  • A clinical expert in nutrition for patients requiring hepato-pancreato-biliary surgery including acute and post discharge care
  • A minimum of 7 years post-graduate experience in a tertiary hospital setting with at least 3 years working in acute surgical nutrition
  • Experience in prehabilitation and ERAS implementation 
  • Passionate about student supervision and clinical leadership
