Grade 3 Dietitian – Specialist Eating Disorders Unit

- Be a senior dietitian at a leading Victorian health service.

- Full Time, ongoing (AK1–AK4).
Your New Role
- Provide expert clinical dietetic assessment and nutrition management for patients with eating disorders.
- Work as part of a specialised multidisciplinary team (MDT) supporting care within a dedicated 8-bed inpatient Eating Disorders Unit and associated outpatient programme.
- Collaborate closely with the acute nutrition team and community mental health dietitians to ensure coordinated, continuum-of-care for patients.
- Contribute to service development, clinical leadership and education, and quality improvement initiatives.
- The role is based at The Royal Melbourne Hospital – City Campus and may include some weekend shifts.
About You
- Clinical expertise in nutrition management for patients with eating disorders.
- Minimum 7 years post-graduate experience, with at least 3 years working in eating disorders and/or mental health.
- Demonstrated leadership capability, including the ability to inspire and support colleagues and contibute to service development
- Strong organisational skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Proven ability in conflict resolution, collaboration, and negotiation within multidisciplinary teams.
- Passion for student and staff supervision, mentoring, and clinical leadership.
