Occupational Therapist Grade 3 Senior Clinician
Trauma

• Provide excellent clinical assessment and therapy for patients in trauma services
• Flexible roster (including weekends) in our supportive and collaborative Occupational Therapy team
• Fixed term parental leave cover to 25 March 2026, full time.

• The OT surgical stream provides clinical services to a wide range of clients who have undergone a variety of surgical procedures, or experienced traumatic injuries.  
• Provide excellent, evidence based and patient centred care including assessment, intervention and discharge planning for patients in the acute hospital wards
• Supervise and educate junior occupational therapists, allied health assistants and occupational therapy students
• Demonstrate excellent communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff and relevant services in order to provide appropriate services, information and leadership
• Actively lead and participate in Allied Health quality improvement initiatives and research  

• You have acute hospital experience with a collaborative leadership style
• You have excellent communication skills and a passion for continued professional development for yourself and others.
• You are an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist dedicated to providing evidence-based practice
• You value working with supportive and dedicated Occupational Therapists and multidisciplinary teams.
