About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Specialist to join our dynamic People & Culture team. Reporting to our Employee Relations Team Leader, as an Employee Relations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic advice and support to our Business Partnering team, our wider leadership group and employees on a wide range of employee relations matters.
This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term position based in our newly built Elizabeth Street office.

Provide practical, best-practice advice on employment and industrial matters including enterprise agreement interpretation, investigations, and performance management

Assist in the Implementation of and build leadership confidence in interpreting and applying Enterprise Agreements across the organisation

Develop and deliver training, resources, and procedures that build capability and confidence in employee and industrial relations at all levels

Represent and advocate in matters before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals to achieve outcomes aligned with organisational needs

Monitor industry trends, legislative updates, and tribunal decisions to inform proactive, compliant, and effective workplace relations strategies
About you:
Essential
-
Tertiary qualification in HR/Law or other relevant discipline will be highly desirable
-
Consolidated experience and expertise in employee and industrial relations
-
Confidence and experience in the representation, advocacy and successful delivery of outcomes for matters before Fair Work Commission (FWC) and/or other tribunals, courts and authorities
-
Experience within a human resources generalist, employee and industrial relations professional position across medium to large size organisations, including responsibility for managing or supporting investigations into misconduct, grievances or protected disclosures

Previous exposure with the successful implementation of replacement enterprise agreements across organisations
Desirable

Health Sector or Public Hospital experience

Previous experience with Health Sector Enterprise Agreements and Awards

Previous experience using SAP, SuccessFactors and RosterOn
