About the Role

 

Join the Gastroenterology team in a pivotal administrative role that helps ensure patients receive safe, timely and high-quality endoscopy care.

 

In this role you'll coordinate elective endoscopy bookings, manage waiting lists, and support patients throughout their journey from referral through to their procedure.

 

Working within a collaborative and supportive team, you'll partner closely with Gastroenterology liaison nurses, clinicians, internal departments and external healthcare providers to coordinate appointments, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure efficient access to care.

 

This is an ideal opportunity for a highly organised administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced healthcare environment and making a meaningful difference to the patient experience.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Partner with the Gastroenterology Endoscopy liaison team to book, schedule and notify patients of their upcoming procedure
  • Maintain an accurate data base from which we report directly to DHHS
  • Ensure full utilization of resources available to us working closely with pre- admission clinic and perioperative services to ensure smooth and patient focused care on the day of their procedure

  • Have an eye for detail and be able to maintain an accurate data base
  • Reliable and able to work in a team environment.
