Pharmacy Services at RMH play a critical role in ensuring safe, effective and innovative medication management across the organisation. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity to shape the future of pharmacy services within a complex, tertiary health environment.
Your new role
The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the strategic, operational and clinical leadership of Pharmacy Services at RMH. Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer, this role ensures the delivery of high-quality, safe and patient-centred pharmacy services while driving innovation, research and continuous improvement.
In this role you will:
- Lead the strategic direction and operational management of Pharmacy Services
- Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality and innovative medication management practices
- Oversee medication safety standards and lead medicines governance committees
- Manage financial performance, including pharmacy budgets and medication expenditure
- Contribute to organisational strategy and executive decision-making
About you
You are a highly experienced and strategic pharmacy leader with a strong track record in hospital pharmacy management.
You will bring:
- Extensive experience (10+ years) in hospital pharmacy, including senior leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, service development and innovation
- Strong financial, operational and workforce management capability
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication and influencing skills
- A commitment to research, education and continuous improvement
