  • Ongoing Full Time position
  • 80 hours per fortnight with monthly Accrued day off
  • Travel to metropolitan and regional sites as required.

The Dialysis Technical Services (DTS) team plays a critical role in supporting high-quality patient care across RMH Kidney Care Services. We are seeking a motivated Dialysis Service Technologist to join our team and contribute to the safe installation, maintenance and performance of haemodialysis and water filtration systems across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

This is a hands-on technical role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working both independently and collaboratively, and supporting the delivery of safe, reliable dialysis treatment for our patients.

Your new role

As a Dialysis Service Technologist, you will:

  • Perform planned and unplanned maintenance of dialysis machines across RMH Kidney Care Services.
  • Conduct water testing and safety checks of water filtration equipment to ensure compliance.
  • Support installation of home haemodialysis systems and related technical requirements.
  • Complete safety testing, calibration and documentation in line with DTS standards.
  • Work closely with the DTS team, clinical partners and external contractors.
  • Travel to metropolitan and regional sites as required.
  • Participate in team meetings, mandatory training, and competency assessments.

Your work ensures dialysis equipment operates safely and effectively — directly contributing to the wellbeing of our patients.

About You

  • Demonstrates the Melbourne Way — putting people first, leading with kindness and achieving excellence together.
  • Brings experience in dialysis technical services and/or biomedical engineering.
  • Holds tertiary qualifications in biomedical science or electronics.
  • Has a current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
  • Works well in a team environment and communicates effectively with clinical and technical colleagues.
