About the role

Reporting to the RMH Foundation Director, the Deputy Director is a senior leadership role providing strategic oversight across fundraising performance, major and principal gifts, people leadership, and governance. The role contributes to the Foundation’s growth and acts as the Director’s delegate when required.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Co-lead the development and delivery of RMH’s fundraising strategy
  • Lead major and principal gifts activity and manage a portfolio of high-value donors
  • Build strong relationships with senior clinicians and stakeholders
  • Lead and develop a high-performing, values-led fundraising team
  • Oversee fundraising performance, budgets, reporting, and compliance
  • Drive effective use of donor data and systems

 

What you will bring:

  • Degree qualification or equivalent experience
  • Membership of the Fundraising Institute of Australia (or eligibility)
  • Minimum three years’ leadership experience in healthcare philanthropy
  • Proven success in major or principal gifts fundraising
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desirable: Experience with Raiser’s Edge or similar systems.
