Join one of Victoria’s leading health services as a Credentialled Trainer within our exciting Pathology Connect Program — a major digital transformation that will deliver an integrated pathology system across the Parkville health services.
Your new role:
As a Credentialled Trainer, you’ll play a key role in preparing staff for the transition to the Epic Laboratory Information System (Beaker) and associated systems, including Magentus for Transfusion and Cell Therapy. This is your chance to combine your technical expertise and communication skills to make a real impact on digital health transformation.
You’ll complete credentialing in Epic Beaker and deliver high-quality, engaging training to pathology staff across modules such as Core Laboratory, Anatomical Pathology, Microbiology, Molecular Pathology and more. During go-live, you’ll provide at-the-elbow support to help end users confidently adopt new workflows.
About You
You are an engaging communicator with strong presentation skills and a passion for learning and supporting others through change. You’ll also bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as medical scientist in a healthcare or pathology laboratory environment (microbiology, molecular pathology, anatomical pathology, or core lab preferred)
- Demonstrated experience delivering training to diverse learner groups
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of laboratory workflow processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Learning Management Systems
Desirable:
- Experience in EMR, LIS or digital health implementations
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent
- Experience using Articulate 360 or creating video-based learning content
